The Department of Chemical and Radiation Safety provides a broad range of services to the University to promote the protection of our customers. We view our customers as not only the students, faculty and administrative staff of the University, but also as the community and environment in which we live. Providing these services is a challenging responsibility, and requires that we operate as a true cross-functional team to find creative ways to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and University policies in the most efficient manner possible.
