If you were a
Sonographer . . .
your job would be to bounce high-frequency sound waves off of organs, vessels and tissues in the body body body body ()()()()()()()()()()

Is there an echo in here?
Yes, actually there is.
As a sonographer, you would use special equipment to direct sound waves into areas of a patient's body to generate images for diagnostic purposes. As the sound waves bounce off of the area being examined - a patient's liver, for example - they create an echo that is captured by a computer and converted into pictures on a screen.

This procedure is known as diagnostic medical sonography, or ultrasound.
