As a radiologic technologist, you would produce x-ray films of the human body to help diagnose medical problems.
If we didn't have radiologic technology to look inside of our bodies, many patients would be faced with a less-desirable diagnostic procedure...exploratory surgery! If given a choice, who wouldn't choose an x-ray over surgery!
