There is an easier way to get GME data for your hospital, albeit the most recent
data is from 1997. Larry Green at the AAFP Policy Center has posted the data for
IME, DME. total GME, the number of primary care residents, and the GME/resident
for FY 1997, by hospital and by state, on the AAFP Policy Center web page:
You'll need to do two searches and correlate the results. The first is on GME,and the second is on hospital identification numbers, so you can interpret the first. I've pasted links to both reports below:
GME data by hospital ID: http://aafppolicy.org/data/gme.html
Hospital ID numbers, by state: http://aafppolicy.org/data/id.html
In addition, there is a summary report of within state variance for GME. It's
at: http://aafppolicy.org/data/t2.html
Good hunting!
