The HLTHPROF listserv allows you to receive HLTHPROF messages in a variety
of formats. The basic commands are listed below. Please note that you can
also perform these functions via the web! Please see the email message
"HLTHPROF Quick Facts (2/3): Archives and Web Interface for HLTHPROF."
When using any of these commands, be sure to only include the command in the
message, with NO quotation marks and NO signature file or other information.
TO SUBSCRIBE:
Send the message "subscribe HLTHPROF your name" to
listserv@list.msu.edu
TO UNSUBSCRIBE:
Send the message "unsubscribe HLTHPROF" to
listserv@list.msu.edu
TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISCUSSION:
Send your message to
hlthprof@list.msu.edu
TO RECEIVE INDIVIDUAL MESSAGES:
You automatically receive each HLTHPROF message as it is sent.
To change to digest or index setting, see below.
TO RECEIVE MESSAGES IN DIGEST FORMAT:
(All of the day's messages as one large email)
Send the message "set HLTHPROF digests" to
listserv@list.msu.edu
TO RECEIVE MESSAGES IN INDEX FORMAT:
(All of the day's SUBJECT headings as one large email)
Send the message "set HLTHPROF mail index" to
listserv@list.msu.edu
TO SUSPEND AND RESUME MAIL:
(It is very important to do this before you leave for vacation, especially
if you turn on an auto-reply message before you leave. Otherwise, the
auto-reply will cause numerous error messages for the list.)
To suspend mail from HLTHPROF, send the message "set HLTHPROF nomail" to
listserv@list.msu.edu
To resume mail from HLTHPROF, send the message "set HLTHPROF mail" or "set
HLTHPROF digests" or "set HLTHPROF mail index" to
listserv@list.msu.edu
TO READ ARCHIVED MESSAGES ON THE WEB:
To read archived messages, go to
http://list.msu.edu/archives/hlthprof.html
You will need to enter your email address and create a password to access
HLTHPROF messages.
