Declines in Rural Born Admissions

Medical schools were divided into groups using the % rural population of the state. These groups were compared over time. Medical schools in the states with 40 - 50% rural population declined the most. Rural mission tends to hold off decline, but all schools had declines in rural born admissions except Morehouse.

Schools in state that cross the threshold from rural to urban may have increased difficulties for a time period - (opinion only).
