Christopher J. Kratochvil,
M.D. is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at
the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He is the
Assistant Director of the Psychopharmacology Research Consortium.
Board certified in Psychiatry as well as Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Kratochvil received his undergraduate and medical degrees from
Creighton University. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at the
Creighton-Nebraska Department of Psychiatry. He completed a Child &
Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Duke University, where he also served as
Chief Resident.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent
Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical
Association, the Applied Research Ethics Association, the Nebraska Regional
Council of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Nebraska Psychiatric
Association.
Dr. Kratochvil’s research interests include pharmacotherapy of attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder, treatment of pediatric depression, and genetics of psychiatric
disorders.
