Depression Studies

Study 1

Individuals experiencing depression are being recruited to participate in a research study which uses marketed antidepressant medications. Participants must be 19 to 65 years of age and in good general medical health. Study procedures and medications are provided at no cost to you. For additional information call 552-6005, or e-mail unmcprc@unmc.edu.

Study 2

Approximately one out of 10 American adults will suffer from a depressive illness in a given year.  If you are between the ages of 19 and 70, are experiencing symptoms of depression and have previously been diagnosed with depression, you may be eligible to participate in a study to evaluate an investigational, once-daily, oral medication for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder.  Study procedures and medications are provided at no cost to you. For additional information call 552-6005, or e-mail unmcprc@unmc.edu.

Study 3

Do these symptoms sound like your teenager:  trouble sleeping, change in appetite, loss of interest or motivation, decreased energy, feelings of emptiness or worthlessness?  If the answer is yes and your child is 12 to 17 years of age, he/she may be eligible to participate in a study of an investigational medication for adolescent depression. Study procedures and medications are provided at no cost to you.  For additional information, call 552-6005, or email unmcprc@unmc.edu.
