Expenses of medical students include "educational expenses" and
"living expenses". In 2004-2005 a Nebraska resident enrolled in medicine will pay
$18,637 in tuition, $1810 in fees, and approximately $1053 for equipment and
books the first year. Fees and books/equipment costs will vary from year to
year. "Living expenses" are an additional cost of being a student and are
currently at $1500 per month.
