Select Agents & Toxins Training (IBCMOD3)
Targeted Audience: Anyone possessing, handling, and/or transferring select agents or toxins
Frequency: Annual
Regulatory basis: 42 CFR Part 73.3 Select Agent Rule
Individuals who possess, handle, and/or transfer select agents or toxins must complete Select Agents & Toxins Training at the time of their initial assignment to a work area where select agents or toxins are present and complete annual training thereafter. Laboratory personnel are also required to complete the General Biosafety and the Biosafety Level 3 Training.
