Policies and procedures have been standardized so that practices of handling and preparing biohazardous waste are the same everywhere on campus. In order to inform employees of the new changes in the definition, policies and procedures of biohazardous waste, the Biohazardous Waste Committee has developed educational programs and materials to train employees on biohazardous waste reduction.
