Definition The title of Postdoctoral Fellow was created for positions that are assoicated with NIH fellowships and training grants which allow additional training following the receipt of a doctorate degree. This position is mainly funded by a National Research Service Award (NRSA) or similar funding source, but do not permit employee status.
