Students from the following school districts are eligible to apply:
- Bellevue Public Schools
- Bennington Public Schools
- Council Bluffs Community School District
- Douglas County West Community Schools
- Educational Service Unit #3
- Gretna Public Schools
- Millard Public Schools
- Omaha Public Schools (OPS)
- Papillion-La Vista School District
- Ralston Public Schools
- Westside Community Schools
To be eligible, students from the participating districts must meet the following criteria:
- Be a high school junior or senior and at least 16 years of age at the beginning of the 2013-14 school year
- Have completed and attained at least a B in Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology and a third year of science (or currently enrolled)
- Obtain parental/guardian permission
- Be enrolled in a participating high school for the entire school year
- Be on track for graduation
