Join us for an insider's view of the School of Allied Health Professions Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education building 619 South 42nd Street / Omaha (Parking in Lots 39 and 4 on the Southeast and Southwest corners of 41st & Emile)

This year, choose one, or both, of these great opportunities:
Admissions Track
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Audience: This track is intended for individuals who believe they will be ready to apply for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Participants in the Admissions track will:
• walk through the application process,
• learn the costs and financial aid possibilities at UNMC,
• tour the “hot spots” on campus, and
• speak with current students.

Career Exploration Track
12:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Audience: This track is intended for individuals who want to explore each profession more closely. High school juniors and seniors and college students, interested in a career in health care, will have the opportunity for hands-on experiences. Parents are also welcome! Participants in the Career Exploration track will:
• experience an in-depth look at 12 different health professions,
• learn ways to be more competitive applicants, and
• explore pipeline (early admission) programs.

In addition, the campus bookstore will have items for sale at the event.

Registration will open on March 1, 2012.
