The 2013 All-school Professionalism Ceremony was held Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education (MSC)

2:30 - 3:30PM
PT program ceremony - - Truhlsen Campus Events Center

1:30 - 4:00PM
Reception and Self-Guided Tours -- Commons and Outside (weather permitting)

Professional dress required.

This is a rite of passage for students in the School of Allied Health Professions to begin their professional program or clinical encounters with patients. The ceremony focuses on professionalism, encompassing the concepts of ethical behavior, compassionate care, and service to others. As students are given their pins or first white coat during this ceremony, it is a reminder of the high standards to which each student is expected to maintain in the care of patients.
