Welcome to the Clinical Laboratory Science Program!

The University of Nebraska Medical Center offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS). The CLS Program is well established and combines a strong curriculum with a clinical component that prepares individuals to sit for CLS/MT national certification exams.

Application for Admission to the Class of 2013 will be available July 15, 2011. 
Application Deadline:  October 15 for initial consideration - February 15 for final consideration*
     *The CLS Program has a rolling admissions process.  All applications submitted by Oct 15 will be reviewed for admission decisions announced by early January.  Applications submitted after Oct 15 will be considered on an individual basis and only if space is available in the class. 

If you are interested in finding out what a day in the life of a CLS is, we offer Job Shadowing opportunities.  Job Shadowing experiences for CLS will be offered on designated Saturdays starting in September 2011 (we do not offer job shadowing in the summer).  Job Shadow dates will be posted when they are determined, please check back.
