A $45 non-refundable fee is required for processing the application materials. The following expenses for the Clinical Laboratory Science Program students are estimates only. They will vary depending on specific housing arrangements, transportation, and availability of alternate health insurance, and are based on the 2009-2010 tuition rates and fees established by the Board of Regents.

 Financial Assistance:
Clinical Laboratory Science Program students are considered full-time students and, therefore, are eligible for guarantee loans and for deferment of student loans during the program. After you have been accepted into the program, then the Financial Aid office will be able to assist you. Loan funds and scholarships, including a Nebraska Foundation 50th Anniversary Medical Technology Founders' Scholarship Fund, are available to qualified students. Scholarships are also available through the University of Nebraska Medical Center and many other outside sources

* CLS Program students must have health insurance. This requirement can be met by purchasing a University-endorsed plan, or the student can provide evidence of comparable coverage through spouse's, employer's, parent's, or personal plan, in which case the fee is waived. Also, students must have and will be charged for a TB skin test, Hepatitis B Vaccination and Titer. If the student has recently had these three prior to beginning the program, these fees can be waived.
** Parking permits will only be required for those students at The Nebraska Medical Center.
