The Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiation Science Technology at UNMC is available to registered radiation science technologists interested in pursuing one of the RSTE Division's Post-Primary Professional Programs:
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Radiation Therapy
- Computed Tomography / Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Cardiovascular Interventional Technology
The technologist must have completed an accredited Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology program, be certified in their profession (ARRT/CNMT), and have completed at least 35 hours of specified college prerequisites.
Transfer students will receive a maximum of 60 semester hours of transfer credit for their RT or NMT program. Additional coursework may transfer for credit; course description and syllabus may be requested for evaluation of equivalency with UNMC. Transcripts are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and accepted students will be provided with an Individual Plan of Study for their Post-Primary Professional Program Completion.
