Application Process

The online application for the 2010-2011 academic year is available after October 1, 2009. Only online applications will be accepted. The application fee is $45.00. The deadline for all application material is January 15th.

All applicant files will be evaluated by the DMS Selection Committee and candidates selected for an on-campus interview will be notified in February.

Interviews and HOBET testing will be conducted in February and March. The cost for the testing is $20.00.

Student selection and notification will occur within 2 weeks after the interview. The Selection Committee decision is based on GPA, HOBET testing, ACT scores, references and the personal interview. Enrollment is limited. Not all candidates are accepted.
Applicants not having English as their native or first language must submit official scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum acceptance score on the TOEFL examination is 600 written, 250 computer-based, or 100 internet-based. (Note: The TOEFL Examination is administered by the Educational Testing Service, P.O. Box 6155, Princeton, NJ 08541-6155, USA http://www.ets.org/.) The UNMC institution code for reporting TOEFL scores is 6896.
