Extracorporeal Technology Review
The Extracorporeal Technology Review program of the Clinical Perfusion Education Department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is open to anyone interested in fundamentals of perfusion.
No travel headaches, no hotel rooms, no unreimbursed travel expenses. Save your vacation time for R and R! Our distance-delivered curriculum is designed for both the seasoned and new-graduate Perfusionist to bring currency in the fundamentals of technology. Our program is structured around the published AC-PE consensus curriculum developed by the Perfusion Program Directors Council and adopted by our accrediting body. Synchronous and asynchronous tools are used to bring the ultimate in flexibility for your busy lifestyle and schedule. There are a total of five sessions of live classroom activities to be enjoyed from the comforts of the location of YOUR choice. The remainders of the sessions are delivered as lectures entirely at your convenience within the 6-day period.
The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion has awarded 57.5 SDCEUs. 25 SDCEUs may be reported on the Professional Activity Report: 10 as Category I SDCEs and 15 as Category III Self-Learning Acitivities. You can review their certification requirements on their website.
The program includes self-study suggestions and TWO opportunities to take an on-line examination covering extracorporeal science, much like certification exams are offered today.

The registration fee for all six days and computer access to course material is $650, plus an additional $150 for those requesting CEUs. Any fees associated with computer access or long distance telephone service is NOT included and is the participant’s responsibility.
