Kathleen S. Trudell, BSMT, MLS(ASCP)CM SBBCM

Trudell is the clinical coordinator for Immunohematology in the University of Nebraska Medical Center Medical Laboratory Science Program. She received her bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. After working as a generalist for several years, she became a dedicated blood banker, receiving her specialist in blood bank certification in 2002.

Trudell also team teaches Laboratory Management (Quality Improvement) and Clinical Laboratory Science Theory, Application and Correlation. She is a member of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and the Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies.
