4. APPLY! - The UNMC Online Admissions Application can be started, saved and returned to at a later time. You will be assigned a unique ID (NUID) at the beginning of the application. It is important that you memorize the unique ID (NUID) and self-created password, as this will be the ID and password used to access the online admissions application as well as the on-line application tracking system.
Each applicant must submit the University of Nebraska Medical Center online application form for the Nuclear Medicine Program. The Admissions Committee for the Nuclear Medicine program will consider each applicant who has completed the online application form and supporting documents by the appropriate deadlines.
Included in the online application will be letters of recommendation, so begin thinking about who your recommenders will be. Interview dates for 2014 are TBD, with a limited number of qualified applicants before acceptance is offered. Enrollment is limited; consequently, not all candidates are accepted.
UNMC’s Nuclear Medicine Program has an initial consideration deadline and a final consideration deadline for admission. Applicants applying by the initial deadline will be given priority consideration for positions available in the class. Applications submitted after the initial deadline will only be considered if positions are still available in the class. These late applications will be considered on an individual basis. If positions are filled in the class prior to the final deadline, the application will be closed and no more applications will be accepted.
