2014 Excellence in Research Award Recipient: Ka-Chun (Joseph) Siu
Each year, using an objective assessment that takes into account such things as number of publications, number of grants submitted, and amount of research funding, the SAHP reviews the research activities and achievements of its faculty in selecting the recipient of this award. The recipient of the award is recognized for having made significant research contributions and adding to the knowledge of the clinical, scientific, and/or educational community.
This year’s recipient of the SAHP Excellence in Research Award is Dr. Ka-Chun (Joseph) Siu, assistant professor, division of physical therapy education. Dr. Siu completed his degree in physical therapy at Kaohsiung Medical University before coming to the United States to pursue doctoral studies in motor control and learning at the University of Oregon.
