The University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology Perioperative and Critical Care Echocardiography Training Courses consist of on-site sessions with customized post-graduate training programs tailored specifically to physicians who want to further their education and career without compromising their existing practice. This program features a Basic Course as well as an Advanced Course built on three teaching modules:

  1. Didactics covering key principles in basic and advanced echocardiography
  2. Hands-on learning with live models and echo simulation
  3. Peer review of the student’s own studies, plus on-line studies with instant electronic feedback

FAQ
1. How do I register?
    Submit application, required material and $1000.00 deposit. Remaining tuition is due prior to the first session.
2. If I take the basic course can I take the advanced course?
    Yes. 25% of basic course payment will be applied to advanced tuition.
3. Can the basic studies performed and evaluated be applied towards my advanced course?
    Yes. 50 studies from the basic course will apply towards the 100 studies required for advanced course.
4. What forms of payment are accepted?
