Postdoctoral Scholars: Newly graduated M.D. and/or Ph.D. scientists will perform 1 to 3 years of research projects supported by a principal investigator at UNMC.
Visiting Scholars: Other graduated M.D. and/or Ph.D. scientists will perform 1 to 2 years of research projects supported by a principal investigator at UNMC.
As a potential postdoctoral scholar or visiting scholoars, you must:
- Send an email to indicate your intent to apply.
- Visit the APRDP website and click on “Principal Investigators” to search for an investigator who matches your research interests. This list features investigators who have an interest in working with Chinese CSC scholarship recipients. If you do not find an investigator that matches with your research interests, you may research our UNMC website for a more broad list of researchers. Once you find an investigator, you must initiate contact with him/her to begin the application process.
- Contact your prospective supervisor at UNMC for their acceptance;
- Receive a conditional offer letter from your prospective supervisor;
- Provide a UNMC conditional offer letter to the Chinese institution and CSC;
- Apply to CSC for final approval.
