- The College of Nursing LRC;
- The College of Pharmacy Student Commons Area
- Clinical Skills Lab in the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education.

These pages were created with the product LibGuides, a Web 2.0 tool that makes it easier for the library to bring content to the various specialized groups and interests at UNMC.
Some of the focused pages for groups include:
- The Nebraska Medical Center library portal
- College of Nursing
- College of Dentistry
- College of Pharmacy
Other pages are a re-invented version of past library suggested resources and education:
Web of Science upgrade on Sunday, October 19

“Maintenance Alert
Thomson Reuters will be upgrading ISI Web of Knowledge on Sunday, October 19, 2008, beginning at 8 AM EDT. There will be disruptions to ISI Web of Knowledge and EndNote Web throughout the day. We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause.”
“Secure Connection Failed” warnings in Firefox
October 9, 2008 on 12:50 pm | Uncategorized | No CommentsHere are the steps that are needed to gain access to several library resources (including RefWorks) when the Firefox ”Secure Connection Failed” warning appears. 1) When the “Secure Connection Failed” message appears while you are trying to access a Library resource, click on the “Or you can add an exception” link. 2) The display will change slightly. Click on the “Add Exception” button that appears. 3) The “Add Security Exception” dialog box will appear. Click on the “Get Certificate” button. 4) The display will change slightly. Click on the “Confirm Security Exception” button. 5) When you click on RefWorks in the future, you may be warned about the bad security certificate and, if prompted, should click the button or link that indicates your desire to continue to the website.
Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) students tour the Library today

McGoogan Library of Medicine welcomes UNMC Alumni Weekend visitors

Come and see first-hand how the current students, faculty and staff have their biomedical information needs met through expert librarian assistance, world-wide library networks, and technology. Visit the Rare Book Rooms, and check out the honor years’ medical graduates’ theses.

The subjects are in the area of medical history, ethics, and medical humanities. Come by the New Book area on the 6th Floor and check it out!
