Admission to the program requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate institution with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students should have successfully completed undergraduate courses in biology, calculus, physics,and chemistry, including organic chemistry. The Graduate Record Exam, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation are also required.
The BRTP has a directive to recruit students that are eligible for NIH supported training programs. Thus, unfortunately, we are not currently accepting applications from non-citizens or non-permanent-residents
To ensure full consideration, applications should be submitted by February 1st when the program begins making acceptance offers. After that date, positions in the program can be filled at any time. Applications must be submitted by June 1st. Contact the BRTP office for any questions.
