The cancer center project features three buildings — a research tower, an inpatient hospital tower, and a multidisciplinary outpatient cancer treatment center. Two levels of underground parking will be part of the project. The buildings will be built directly east of the Durham Research Center towers on the west end of the UNMC campus. A fourth building, an ambulatory care clinic, will be constructed to provide much needed outpatient clinic space.
