Building a cancer-free Nebraska extends beyond the laboratory into the communities across the state. Since many cancers can be prevented through changes in lifestyle, the Eppley Cancer Center is dedicated to educating the public on the importance of cancer prevention and early detection. Eppley Cancer Center staff and volunteers travel across the state to provide free cancer screenings and education for Nebraskans at events serving both rural and urban populations.
