Carol Bell Memorial Lecture
2004 Speaker - David Khayat, M.D., Ph.D., President of the National Institute of Cancer in France
The lectureship was initiated with gifts to the University of Nebraska Foundation honoring Carol Bell, who died of cancer in August 1997. She was the wife of Bob Bell, former president of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. The Carol Bell Lecture brings a nationally recognized cancer authority to UNMC with each lecture focusing on a different area of cancer and cancer research.
