CONTENT AREAS The content of the educational activities sponsored by the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education focuses on primary care and other specialties which are premier to the institution. Content for educational activities is based on needs assessment. Other unique educational activities are those that are conducted for Faculty Development and Outreach activities for regional audiences.
TARGET AUDIENCE The Center for Continuing Education provides educational activities for primary care and specialty physicians as well as other healthcare professionals. The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education utilizes the strengths and knowledge of our faculty as well as national and international experts to increase the knowledge of local, state, regional, national and international audiences.
TYPES OF ACTIVITIES OFFERED The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education sponsors live activities, conferences and workshops; journal CME; audio; video; and computer-based learning activities.
EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROGRAM As a result of the educational activities, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education focuses on improving the health of patients by educating and modifying the professional behaviors of the physician and other healthcare providers.
