Air Travel Travel and Transport has been designated the official conference travel management company. Reduced rates have been negotiated with the following airlines when booked through Travel and Transport. A standard fee of $37 per domestic airline ticket (with a family cap of $90) and $47 per international airline ticket (with a family cap of $125) will be charged.
Ground Transportation Kona International Airport (at Keahole) is served by domestic and foreign airlines. The airport is approximately 20 miles north or 30-40 minutes from The Fairmont Orchid. The highway is excellent and traffic flows smoothly. Taxi service from Kona International Airport is approximately $57 one way up to 6 passengers; luxury sedan: $85 one way; limousine: $190 one way up to 6 passengers; or car rentals range from $40 - $100 per day.
