The University of Nebraska Medical Center invites you to participate in SHARING THE VISION, a conference for faculty preceptors, leaders, and supporters of student-run clinics for underserved populations.

The conference sessions will focus on best practices, communicating research findings, and networking with peers.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Faculty and student-leaders involved in, or contemplating being involved in, student-run free clinics. This includes faculty from behavioral health, clinical laboratory science, clinical nutrition, dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician's assistants, and public health.
CONFERENCE PROGRAM
The conference program will consist of plenary sessions, networking opportunities, and breakout sessions. The peer-reviewed program content will consist of three types of sessions: problem-sovling sessions, roundtable discussions/works in progress, and virtual poster sessions.
This is the first conference specifically designed for faculty who are involved in student-run free clinics.
Topics of discussion include physician recruitment, research in student run clinics, alternative practice sites, and interprofessional curriculum through student-run free clinics. Presentations will include involvement of dentistry, nutrition, clinical laboratory sciences, and physical therapy.
