Medical school fees are divided into three categories:

- Living expenses
For the 2011-12 school year, tuition is $27,236; fees which include books, equipment, etc. cost $5,650 for Nebraska residents.
Students also should budget for living expenses which, on average, cost $15,300 per year.

Computers, childcare & more
You can apply for a loan to cover the cost of a computer/PDA/monitor. The $2500 computer budget is for purchases over your four years of medical school.
Disability insurance is offered to students. The $57 charge is paid in the Fall semester of each year.
Childcare services are available to students through the UNMC ChildCare Center located at 40th & Dewey St.
