Graduate Medical Education

With a goal to educate physicians in a high quality environment, UNMC offers 29 residency programs which train over 400 house officers. Our outstanding faculty train residents in variety of clinical settings including metropolitan, rural and regional centers.

With dozens of programs to consider -- including ten in internal medicine -- residents can select the specialty of their choice. Each department has its own program designed to provide clinical experience, research and in-depth training.
