Gross Anatomy Laboratory

Located in Wittson Hall, the department of anatomy has an innovative laboratory for teaching gross anatomy and neuroanatomy. Every dissection table has an individual networked computer connected to a ceiling-mounted high-resolution video projector and displayed on a 50" screen. There are computer screens at each table that allow each group to view clearly the detailed images and text. Presentations can be synced and controlled by the instructor so that all students view the same image or released so that each team working at a table can proceed in a self-paced fashion. Additionally, a high-resolution digital video camera allows students to view live video demonstrations.
