Students will develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to assume leadership positions in practice-based learning and improvement, with special emphasis on established clinical quality and patient safety measures.
In this track, students will meet and interact with various representatives of hospital based quality improvement efforts (representing medical, nursing and pharmacy staff along with members of the continuous-quality improvement department, etc) and will have ample opportunity to select a mentor.
This track will involve all hospital based clinical and support services, including clinical departments, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, etc. Students can pursue their interests within a specific clinical area.
