Dr. Daniel Tylka

Daniel F Tylka, DMD, MS is an associate professor at the University

of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  He received his DMD from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and an MS from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.  Dr. Tylka also holds certificates in “Fixed Prosthodontics” and “TMD & Orofacial Pain”.  His faculty practice is devoted to patients with temporomandibular disorders, craniofacial pain and obstructive sleep apnea.

 


Course Description:

This course will present information regarding the diagnosis and management of Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders. The course will use a multitude of case-based examples to help the participant understand, contrast and compare the different TMDs and orofacial pain conditions that patients present with to your office. The information provided in this course will allow the participant to understand how to more confidently identifying TMJ and orofacial pain problems. The management of many orofacial pain disorders will be discussed, but temporomandibular disorders will be emphasized since the dentist plays a major role in managing these pain disorders.
