Welcome to the Department of Adult Restorative Dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln , Nebraska . Our department includes the Sections of Operative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Biomaterials, and Temporomandibular Disorders. Also included is Assessment and Treatment Planning whose faculty serve as Patient Care Advocates. Our department has a significant commitment to the DDS curriculum, including 13 pre-clinical courses, 8 clinical courses, and 4 didactic courses. Faculty are active in scholarly pursuits in both basic science and clinical science. The results of these efforts have been presented at national meetings of both the American Dental Education Association and the International/American Association for Dental Research. Adult Restorative Dentistry department faculty are also active in providing continuing dental education on the local, national and international level.
