Applied Clinical Research
The Clinical Research Facility in the Cruzan Center for Dental Research is the central unit for coordinating clinical and applied dental research at the UNMC College of Dentistry. The Clinical Research Facility in the Cruzan Center for Dental Research was completed in the spring of 1998 and houses a 7,000 square foot facility with operatories, reception area, data entry/storage center, preparation laboratory and conferencing space. The Center was established to conduct well-designed clinical trials and clinical studies supported by the NIH or industry. Our Center is supported by a core of clinicians with extensive clinical trial experience, funded by both NIH and industry. The clinical research facility also is supported by basic scientists and support staff who are prepared to conduct a broad spectrum of studies in dental, oral and craniofacial research.
Patients with a disease or condition being studied may be eligible for compensation, follow-up treatments or a reduced cost for treatment.
