Graduate:
Laura Hansen, associate professor at Creighton University
received her first R01 grant Nov 1, 2007.
Dr. Hansen is our 6th graduate from the Center in 5 years and will remain an active member of the Center.

Ali Nawshad, assistant professor in Oral Biology at UNMC
received his first R01 grant Feb. 1, 2008.
Dr. Nawshad is our 7th graduate from the Center in 5 years and will remain an active member of the Center.

Monthly meetings:
Our 2007-2008 monthly meeting schedule is out!
Meetings will be held the 3rd Monday of the month starting in Sept. and will run through May. (There will not be a meeting in Dec.)
Location : ESH 6020, UNMC
Time: 10am-12:00pm
Refreshments will be provided at all meetings.

Seminars

The NCCS will sponsor several Eppley Seminars this coming year as well as a new seminar series in the Dept. of Oral Biology at the College of Dentistry.
