CLT/MLT to BSCLS Degree Completion Option
Clinical Laboratory Technicians and Medical Laboratory Technicians interested in pursuing
The DCO is available through distance education technology and can be completed on a part-time basis by practicing laboratory professionals.
Applicants must be pre-approved for enrollment by the Distance Education Office. Accepted applicants must have completed a minimum of 86 semester credits hours of specific college prerequisite courses and an accredited CLT or MLT program. Technicians must be registry-eligible or certified.

a Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science may now apply to the CLT/MLT to BSCLS Degree Completion Option (DCO), Distance Education Office, School of Allied Health Professions, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).
