U.S. Congress

In January 2008, the 110th Congress of the United States convened in Washington, D.C.

 

In the U.S. House of Representatives, Nebraska is respresented by Congressman Lee Terry, who is in his fifth term, Congressman Jeff Fortenberry, in his second term, and Congressman Adrian Smith, in his first term.

 

In the U.S. Senate, both Nebraska SenatorsChuck Hagel and Ben Nelson are in their second terms.

 


 

The University of Nebraska Medical Center Delegates Program

You are invited to join UNMC's cost-free Delegates program, and advocate on behalf of UNMC.  The Delegates Program is open to all who are willing to advocate on behalf of UNMC.  Members will be kept informed about federal and state legislation affecting UNMC, and will be invited to free quarterly events throughout the year. The program is cost-free and registration only takes a minute.

Title VII

UNMC relies on Title VII funding from the Public Health Service Act to support educational programs that train health professionals in fields experiencing shortages, and to provide quality, affordable, and cost-effective care in areas of Nebraska that are most in need of health care services, particularly rural and urban underserved communities.  Click on the heading to learn more.
