Along with patient care, research and education, outreach is a cornerstone of our mission.

Whether faculty teach students how to care for patients who ask for alternative treatments or researchers partner with rural or urban neighborhoods to address health concerns, our goal is to work toward the well-being of everyone in our state. As part of  a global health community, we recruit students from around the world and here at home who have an interest in caring for underserved patient populations.
