Outreach is a cruical part of UNMC's mission to ensure a healthy community. While providing patient care to underserved communities - both rural and urban - is a key component, so are partnerships with community organizations and individuals. Through community engagement, UNMC faculy, staff and students work as liasions with community members to address their health needs.
