Aaron Barksdale was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He received his B.S in Biology from Arkansas State University, where he was also a member of the baseball team. He then attended the University Of Nebraska College Of Medicine. He completed his EM residency at UMKC/TMC, where he also served as chief resident.
Upon completion of his residency, he stayed on at TMC to serve as an EM attending until joining us in July of 2012. Dr. Barksdale has interests in sepsis management and simulation for medical education.
