Jeffrey Cooper, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Cooper graduated from UNMC in 1987, where he both attended medical school and completed his residency in pediatrics. After his residency, Dr. Cooper earned hyperbaric medicine specific training in the Navy where he attended the Naval Undersea Medical Institute (NUMI) and was a Diving and Submarine Medical Officer. Prior to moving his family back to Omaha for this new position, Dr. Cooper practiced emergency medicine at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.

Dr. Cooper currently serves as Assistant Professor for the Department of Emergency Medicine as well as the Medical Director of the Hyperbaric Medicine Center. Dr. Cooper is looking forward to teaching emergency medicine residents as well as growing the Hyperbaric Medicine Center program at UNMC.
