Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG)
Mission:
-
To introduce and spark interest in Emergency Medicine for UNMC
medical students.

To form a mutual support group for UNMC students who are
interested in emergency medicine as their career choice.
-
To provide mentorship for students on the road of applying to
residency.
-
To disseminate information about the field of Emergency
Medicine.

To facilitate learning opportunities and clinical skills in
Emergency Medicine.
EMIG was officially recognized in the fall
of 2003 by President John Keebler, Vice President Will Curry,
and Secretary/Treasurer Marie Krig, Webmaster Joshua Priluck. As of
the '04-'05 academic year, all medical students interested in
emergency medicine may join. EMIG holds approximately 4 meetings per
semester including a hands-on workshop. EMIG also offers ER
shadowing opportunities year round for all members. If you are
