Dr. Robert Muelleman completed his residency at University of Missouri, Kansas City and Truman Medical Center and has been practicing emergency medicine since 1987. He has been board certified in Emergency Medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) since 1988. Dr. Muelleman has been a member of the Emergency Medicine faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1988 - 1993, served as Department Chief from 1998 to 2006, and is currently serving as Chairman since January 1, 2007 when the Emergency Department was awarded departmental status. His academic interest include; injury epidemiology, intimate partner violence, rural injuries and motor vehicle injuries.
