This national meeting of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network will review the treatment of head and neck cancer with surgery, radiation and chemo therapy. Although this is not a UNMC sponsored event, we are very excited about it. There is no charge for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals. We are thrilled to be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Please join us for a dinner gala featuring guest speaker Dr. Toni Ganzel. Dr. Ganzel is a 1978 graduate of UNMC and completed her residency here in 1982. She currently is the Senior Associate Dean for Students and Academic Affairs at the University of Louisville and continues to be an active member of the Pediatric Otolaryngology group based at Kosair Children's Hospital.
